Why are we all craving during ramadan? Well, as many others, I have been craving for cendol. So, today we made some cendol from scratch and had some for iftar (after 3 years of not having any.) We followed a recipe from one blog, but the cendol turned out to be softer than the one we normally buy from the mamak stall. Tak apalah, dah teringin sangat boleh sajalah. This is the picture of our home made cendol, the kids loved it so much. Instead of using 100 % coconut milk, we used 50 % coconut milk + 50 % low fat milk.....kurang kolesterol kan? but the taste is still the same (minus the soft cendol)

Selepas 15 hari kita berpuasa ni, kadang-kadang terasa kering idea nak masak apa lagi untuk juadah berbuka. We have to think of something interesting to prepare for iftar because we have a four year old boy in the house who is fasting diligently every single day........something untuk naikkan semangat dialah.
